{{first_name|Friend}},

I don’t have words. So let me start with the number.

$240,297.50.

That’s what you did. In eight days. For the Lily Pad, for the door next to the Santa Teresa abortion center, for the women who will walk toward it this week.

A few updates are still processing and haven’t yet shown up on the El Paso Giving Day leaderboard — but once they’re entered, God willing, that total will show LIFE as the #1 cause in the Borderland. Again.

I keep thinking about something Mark said on the webcast: “Every time they’ve built something, this community has answered.” And you certainly answered once again! With a $10 million abortion center nearly finished down the road, you responded with almost a quarter of a million dollars to help us continue building places where women and their children can find hope, care, and a future.

I have to tell you about the last gift.

It came in just before midnight. When I opened it, the address wasn’t El Paso. It wasn’t Las Cruces. It was France. I emailed her right away — almost midnight here — and this is what she wrote back:

“It is 7:53 am here in France, weather is beautiful. Loving your perseverance for making life #1 in the NM. YOUR movement will be much more blessed than you can think of!”

Friend, a woman on the other side of the world watched what this community did this week and wanted to be part of it. That's how far the example you are setting is reaching. Your generosity isn't just changing the Borderland. It's inspiring people who have never even been here to believe that something extraordinary is possible.

To everyone who gave: I would love to thank each of you personally. Whether this was your first gift or you've been walking alongside us for years, please know how deeply grateful I am. Some of you gave from your abundance, and others gave sacrificially. I know that behind every gift is a person who believes in this mission and trusts us to carry it forward. That trust means more to me than I can express.

May our Lord hear your prayers and bless you with abundant graces. May He increase your faith, devotion, and hunger for His word. And may you see many unanswered prayers and testify to His Mercy.

We'll be in touch shortly to make sure you get your seats at the gala—you earned first access, and we're saving them for you.

And speaking of the gala…

Pull on your boots. On December 2 in Las Cruces and December 3 in El Paso, we’re celebrating everything you just made possible at Boots, Babies, and Big Dreams — our 11th annual gala — and our keynote speaker is Riley Gaines.

Riley was a twelve-time All-American swimmer at the University of Kentucky when, in March 2022, she was forced to compete against a biological male in the NCAA championships. She tied for fifth. The trophy went to him. That moment turned a swimmer into a movement.

Since then, she’s testified before Congress, joined sixteen female athletes in a landmark lawsuit against the NCAA, founded the Riley Gaines Center at the Leadership Institute, and launched Transfixed on Fox Nation and The Riley Gaines Show on OutKick. As I said on the webcast, her message is one we need in the Borderland: this is not what we want for our daughters — and we don’t have to accept it.

Mark Cavaliere is coming home as our Master of Ceremonies. We’ll unpack every announcement from the webcast — the Lily Pad’s next chapter, the door next to Santa Teresa, the fight for New Mexico — plus a few we’ve been holding back. And then stay for our first-ever Western dance.

Allow me to take a moment to thank Mark personally. Even with the many responsibilities and demands on his time, he continues to give so generously of himself to this ministry. His commitment to the women, babies, and families of our Borderland has always been genuine, and it continues to show in the time, guidance, and encouragement he offers. He believes deeply in what God is building here, and he wants to see these ministries flourish and our community transformed for generations to come. Mark, thank you for continuing to walk alongside us and for helping us carry this beautiful mission forward.

If you weren’t able to give during Giving Day, this is your moment. Tickets and tables are open now — but over 300 seats have already been claimed, and they’re going fast.

Thank you for an eight-day stretch I will never forget. I am humbled by your generosity, encouraged by your faith, and so grateful that God has brought us together for this mission. What a blessing it is to witness what He can accomplish through people who love Him and love their neighbors.

God is so good, and He’s not done yet.

Gratefully in Christ,

P.S. — Our friend in France is 5,000 miles away and still found a way to stand with us. Would you forward this to one person who’s a lot closer? gala.swc.inc

Devotional for Day 24

Intention: In thanksgiving for God's blessings and for every person whose prayers, faith, and generosity bring hope to others.

Scripture: “Give thanks to the LORD, for he is good, for his mercy endures forever.” — Psalm 107:1

Reflection: Sometimes God answers our prayers in ways far greater than we imagined, often through the kindness and sacrifice of others. What a beautiful reminder that none of us accomplishes God's work alone. May we never become so focused on what still needs to be done that we forget to praise Him for all He has already accomplished.

Prayer: Heavenly Father, our hearts overflow with gratitude. Thank You for every prayer, sacrifice, and act of generosity. Bless those who have blessed others, especially those who have given from what little they have. Provide for their needs, bless their families, and remind us that every good thing comes from You. Amen.

TODAY'S CHALLENGE

Before asking God for anything today, spend five minutes simply thanking Him. Then reach out and personally thank someone who has been a blessing in your life.
