TOMORROW: RIBBON CUTTING & BLESSING

First, I want to remind you that tomorrow, Friday, September 18, at 11 am, we will celebrate the ribbon cutting and blessing of our new Southwest Coalition office.

We are so grateful for this new space and for all that God is doing through this mission. Please come celebrate with us. We will have a small brunch, and more than anything, we want the opportunity to fellowship with you, spend time together, and show you firsthand all that God is making possible through Southwest Coalition.

This is not simply about opening a new office. It is an opportunity to give thanks for what God has provided and to share some of the beautiful work He is allowing us to do for women, children, and families.

We really hope you will come!

I also want to thank those of you who have taken the time to write to me. I heard from people outside New Mexico, including Oklahoma and Denver, who joined us in prayer from afar. It meant so much to know that people beyond our state lines were praying alongside us. Thank you for joining us.

Then Geneva sent me a beautiful reminder. She shared something she had heard years ago from a woman leading a pro-life movement:

Geneva, thank you. Those words stayed with me.

As a mother and grandmother, I know how much we pray for our own children and grandchildren. What a beautiful reminder that while we pray and sacrifice for mothers and babies we may never meet, we can place our own families into God’s hands too.

We care for His little ones, and we trust Him with ours.

And what better way to continue praying than by beginning 40 Days for Life together this weekend.

We are asking each person to commit to just one hour of prayer each week. If enough of us claim an hour, together we can build an unbroken chain of prayer throughout all 40 days.
