{{first_name|Friend}},

It's here. Today is El Paso Giving Day — and it's the last day every dollar you give is doubled by our $150,000 matching challenge.

As of last night, 109 people have given $46,374 … which has already been doubled to $92,748!

However, $103,626 in matching funds is still on the table, and we have until midnight to claim it.

I've thought a lot this week about something Mark said on the webcast. He's spent this past year studying what actually changes a culture, and he said this:

"You don't get a culture of life by winning an argument or a vote. You get it by building things that make people realize abortion is unnecessary — and then hearts change, then institutions change, and then the law follows."

{{first_name|Friend}}, that's what you've built here. A sidewalk that leads somewhere. A door next to the abortion center's door. A midwife changing minds by showing women what real care looks like. A maternity home that a judge is asking us to expand. A team carrying all of it into the fight for New Mexico.

And Mark said one more thing I want you to hear: "Look at what the people in Las Cruces and El Paso are doing." That's what he tells leaders in Washington, D.C., in religious orders, in healthcare, across the country. Your generosity isn't just changing the borderland. It's giving people who've never been here a picture of what's possible.

Today, let's give them something more to look at.

Current campaign fundraising progress. Enable images to view totals.

Every gift today is doubled. Every early gift keeps us in the running for one of El Paso Giving Day's limited $25,000 bonus awards. And every one of them says that life stays the #1 cause in the borderland.

We’ll also be sure to credit your donation towards your tickets or table sponsorship for the Boots, Babies, & Big Dreams Gala with Riley Gaines on December 2 in Las Cruces or December 3 in El Paso.

To every single one of you who has given, whether $10 or $50,000, thank you from the bottom of my heart. I wish I could sit down with each of you, look you in the eyes, and tell you how much your kindness and trust mean to me personally. You make it possible for us to do everything we do.

Please know that I don't take a single gift for granted. My prayer is that God will be as generous to you as you have been to us. May He bless your families, provide for your needs, and answer the prayers you carry quietly in your hearts. I thank Him for each of you, and I pray that you will always know how much you mean to me and to all of us at Southwest Coalition.

I'll send an update this afternoon. Let's go!

Gratefully in Christ,

Jessica Sifuentes

P.S. — Already gave? Thank you. Now forward this to one person who hasn't. The match doesn't care who clicks, only that someone does.

Devotional for Day 23

Intention: In thanksgiving for every generous heart, especially those who give sacrificially, and for God's blessings upon them and their families.

Scripture:
“For they have all contributed from their surplus wealth, but she, from her poverty, has contributed all she had, her whole livelihood.” — Mark 12:44

Reflection: Jesus saw something in the widow's offering that others might have overlooked. While her gift seemed small, He knew the tremendous sacrifice behind it. God sees what the world cannot: the love, faith, and generosity of a heart that gives even when it has little. May we never measure generosity by the size of a gift, but by the love with which it is given. And may we always remember that every blessing we receive is an opportunity to bless someone else.

Prayer: Heavenly Father, today I thank You for every person whose generosity has made a difference in the lives of others. You know their names, their sacrifices, and the needs they carry in their own hearts. I ask You to bless them abundantly, especially those who have given from what little they have. Provide for their families, answer their prayers, and return their kindness a hundredfold. May they always feel Your loving presence and know how deeply grateful we are for them. Amen.

TODAY'S CHALLENGE: Pray for someone who has blessed your life through an act of generosity, whether great or small. If possible, reach out and thank them personally. Sometimes the greatest gift we can give in return is a grateful heart.
