The conversation about abortion in New Mexico is not slowing down, and the image below is not our message.

It is what those working to expand abortion in New Mexico are saying.
They are openly telling New Mexicans that abortion access is part of the future they want for New Mexico.
That should not make us angry.
It should make us attentive, prayerful, and willing to show up.
If voices like these are the only ones being heard, it can appear that they speak for all of New Mexico.
They do not.
There are people across this state who believe in the dignity of every human life, from womb to tomb. New Mexicans are a people who cherish mothers and children, who believe families deserve support, who protect the vulnerable, and who believe New Mexico can be known for something greater than abortion.
That is why September 12 matters.
It is about presence.
It is about showing New Mexico that people of faith are still here, still praying, still loving our neighbors, still defending the vulnerable, and still believing that hearts can change.
If we stay home, our silence can be mistaken for agreement. If we show up, peacefully and prayerfully, we remind our state that there is another voice.
And perhaps it is no coincidence that one of our largest gatherings will take place in Las Cruces, the City of the Crosses.
On September 12, let us be exactly what that name reminds us to be: a people willing to stand beneath the Cross and pray for mercy, conversion, courage, and life.
Across New Mexico, churches, families, pro-life organizations, community leaders, and people just like you are coming together on the same day, at the same time.
One state. One day. United in prayer for life.

Women, children, and families to be surrounded by hope and support
Pro-life ministries and leaders serving courageously on the front lines
Abortionists and abortion workers to walk away from the abortion industry and toward life
Elected officials to have the courage to stand firm for life
Unity across New Mexico as people come together to defend life
Our state, that hearts will change, and a culture of life will take root
We are not gathering against people.
We are gathering for life.
We will pray for women and children, for mothers and fathers, for our elected leaders, for those serving on the front lines, and even for those working inside the abortion industry.
Because no person is our enemy.
Bring your family. Bring your children. Invite your church. Call your friends. Bring someone who has never joined us before.
And if your city is not represented yet, there is still time.
Contact us at (915) 455-1344 ext 1004, and we will help you organize a prayer gathering and add your community to this statewide effort.
Different cities. Different churches. Different organizations.
On September 12, let New Mexico be found praying.
