My heart is overflowing with gratitude.
This past Saturday, more than 120 believers gathered at the site of the proposed abortion center in Las Cruces to do something incredibly simple—but incredibly powerful. We prayed.
To every single one of you who joined us—whether you stood beside us in Las Cruces or prayed from miles away—thank you. Those two words hardly seem sufficient.
Thank you for believing that prayer changes things. Thank you for caring enough to take time out of your day to stand in the gap for women, babies, families, and our state. Thank you for reminding us that we are not alone.
One of my favorite moments from Saturday was looking out across the crowd and seeing people from every walk of life gathered with one purpose. Pastors, priests, families, young adults, grandparents, children, ministry leaders, and believers from communities across New Mexico, Texas, and Juárez all stood shoulder to shoulder.
It was a beautiful reminder that when God's people unite in prayer, something extraordinary begins to happen.

Friends, what happened on Saturday was never meant to be a single event.
It was the starting line.
On September 12, what happened in Las Cruces will be multiplied across the entire state of New Mexico.
Communities throughout the state will gather simultaneously in prayer, united as one body with one purpose: asking God to protect life, strengthen families, and stop the construction of the proposed abortion center in Las Cruces.
I truly believe we are witnessing the beginning of something much bigger than any one event. Years from now, I believe people will look back on this season as the moment Christians across New Mexico chose to stand together—not in anger or division, but in prayer, hope, and unwavering faith.
History is often written through ordinary people who simply choose to show up when God calls. Let's continue to be those people.
As we prepare for September 12, I invite you to remain joyful in what God has already done, while also being soberly ready for the work still ahead. There is much to accomplish, and each of us has a role to play.

And most importantly, mark your calendars for September 12 as we unite across New Mexico in what we pray will become one of the largest coordinated prayer movements our state has ever seen.
