{{first_name|Friend}},

Yesterday, we blessed our new Her Care Connection office in Santa Teresa, and I am still overwhelmed by what God is doing.

I am attaching a video of the beautiful sermon by Father Mikhael from Saint Sharble Catholic Mission. It is about seven minutes long, and I encourage you to listen to it all the way through. His words were a powerful reminder that this is not simply a political battle or a construction project. It is ultimately a spiritual battle, and God is calling His people to respond with courage, prayer, and love.

What struck me most yesterday was not the building itself.

It was the people.

The Felix family drove five hours from Arizona to join us for the blessing and Mass.

FELIX FAMILY

The Chavez family drove from Albuquerque to pray at the construction site and personally deliver more than 400 signed letters to Carver Electric.

That kind of sacrifice matters.

That kind of witness matters.

And it is happening because people understand what is at stake.

Another encouraging sign that the message is spreading came this week from the Santa Fe New Mexican.

The newspaper published an article highlighting the effort to stop the Las Cruces abortion center and the growing community response surrounding the project. The article also reported that multiple businesses have already withdrawn after learning more about what they were helping to build.

For everyone who has spent months praying, writing letters, making phone calls, speaking with contractors, and encouraging others to get involved, this coverage is an important reminder that your efforts are making a difference.

What began as a local effort is becoming a statewide conversation.

We are also receiving calls from pro-life groups in Montana and Colorado asking how they can help and, equally important, what we are doing to bring all of New Mexico together so they can take that back to their states.

When you step back and look at all of this together, a clear picture begins to emerge.

The word is spreading.

Families are driving across state lines.

Parishes are getting involved.

Community leaders are paying attention.

Pro-life organizations from other states are reaching out.

And more people are learning what is happening in Las Cruces every day.

Despite what some may believe, the support we are seeing tells a very different story.

New Mexico is filled with people who love their families, love their communities, and are willing to stand up for women and children.

That should give all of us hope.

As construction continues, so does our work.

Please continue praying.

Please continue writing.

Please continue making calls.

Please continue inviting others to join us.

We are stronger together, and God is blessing us with the ability to spread the word farther than many of us ever imagined.

Thank you for standing with us.

Thank you for praying.

Thank you for showing up.

And thank you for helping build a culture of life in New Mexico.

📬 Here are the Updated Letter Packs

If you still haven't, please download the new packet (Google Doc | Word | PDF) and either CALL or EMAIL the companies on the lists. It includes:

1. Petition letters to every remaining confirmed company still actively engaged in the project.

2. Thank-you letters to the companies that have already walked away after learning what they were really helping to build, for standing publicly with the pro-life community.

Remember, if you are willing to help investigate, please consider making polite inquiries regarding either company and whether they are connected to the Las Cruces facility project.

If you make contact, receive a response, or learn anything helpful, please let me know so I can update our records and share verified information with the group.

You can reach me directly by replying to this email or by calling/texting me at (915) 455-1344.

As we have learned throughout this effort, some of our most valuable discoveries have come from respectful conversations and supporters willing to help uncover the truth.

Standing with you for life,

Jessica Sifuentes
President & CEO
Southwest Coalition

P.S. — If you have a personal connection to anyone involved with these companies, never underestimate the power of a respectful conversation. One phone call from a friend, fellow parishioner, church member, neighbor, or trusted acquaintance can accomplish more than hundreds of letters.
