We are strengthened by faith and unshaken by opposition.

I have continued reaching out to strong pro-life leaders in Albuquerque, and through prayer and unity, we are discerning the next steps. We are committed to defending the citizens of New Mexico and standing for the dignity of every human life. I have also received meaningful insight from a state senator who, despite an incredibly full schedule, has expressed a sincere desire to help us stop the proposed $10 million abortion and transgender center from being built.

Thank you for your prayers, for reading these updates carefully, and for your encouragement. I look forward to sharing more details very soon. Some information cannot be fully communicated through email, which is why it is so important to make every effort to attend tomorrow’s meeting. If you absolutely cannot attend but would like information regarding the trip to Albuquerque, please contact us directly.

  • WHAT: Emergency “Next Steps” Meeting on UNM Abortion Center

  • WHERE: Guiding Star Southwest, 2908 Hillrise, Las Cruces, NM

  • WHEN: Friday, Feb 27, 2026 @ 6:00 p.m

Right now, the two most important things you can do are simple and powerful. First, pray and trust that God remains sovereign no matter how difficult circumstances may appear. Second, share this information with family and friends and invite them to sign up and pray at the site. The way we fight is with the most powerful weapon we have: prayer.

As we prepare for what lies ahead, especially for those planning to travel to Albuquerque, we must also prepare spiritually. Scripture gives us clear direction: “Gird up your loins and arise… Do not be dismayed before them… They will fight against you, but they shall not prevail against you, for I am with you, says the Lord.” Jeremiah 1:17 to 19.

To gird your loins is to prepare for action. It means tightening what is loose, steadying what is shaken, and standing ready with resolve. It is not a posture of panic. It is a posture of strength.

We do not deny the reality of what is happening. We also do not surrender to it. We are a people of faith. Christ is victorious. No construction project can overturn the sovereignty of God. No opposition can silence the truth.

This is the moment to pray with greater hope than ever before. Hope is not wishful thinking. It is confidence in the promises of God. “Let us hold fast the confession of our hope without wavering, for He who promised is faithful.” Hebrews 10:23.

We will gird our loins. We will stand. We will fill every vigil hour with steadfast prayer. We will shine the light of Christ clearly and without fear.

I will communicate the next steps as soon as we have confirmed information and a unified, strategic plan. When the call to action comes, it will be clear and purposeful.

Even when news is difficult, our response remains the same: faithfulness, courage, and hope.

The Lord is with us. He strengthens those He calls. And He is not finished.

Gratefully in Christ,

Devotional for Day 9

Intention: For courage, perseverance, and readiness as we stand in prayer for the protection of every unborn child and for the conversion of hearts involved in this project.

Scripture: “Gird up your loins and arise… Do not be dismayed before them, lest I dismay you before them. For behold, I make you this day a fortified city, an iron pillar, and bronze walls… They will fight against you, but they shall not prevail against you, for I am with you, says the Lord, to deliver you.” Jeremiah 1:17 to 19

Reflection: To gird our loins is to prepare for action with resolve and discipline. The Lord does not call us to fear, but to readiness. He strengthens those He sends. When we stand at the vigil, we stand as a fortified city, not in our own strength, but in His. Opposition does not mean abandonment. It is often confirmation that the mission matters. God promises that while there may be resistance, it will not prevail over His purposes.

Prayer: Lord, strengthen us for the work before us. Clothe us with courage and steadiness. Guard our hearts from discouragement and fear. Make us firm and faithful as we stand for life. May Your presence go before us and may Your victory be revealed in Your perfect time. Amen.

Challenge: Choose one hour this week to stand in prayer at the UNM vigil and prepare your heart beforehand with this Scripture. Stand ready, steady, and unafraid. Pray Psalm 51 for Dr. Theard.
