Five Special Glimpses into the Ministry You Help Make Possible!
Only FIVE days left in our 40 Days for Life campaign! And I have something very special planned for you!
For 35 days, you have faithfully prayed, sacrificed, and stood for mothers and their unborn children. Many of you may never meet the people whose lives your prayers have touched. But I wish you could see what we see every day!
So, for these final five days, I'm opening the doors of Southwest Coalition and inviting you behind the scenes!
You'll hear directly from our sidewalk interns, discover the beautiful conversations our counselors have with mothers, and get a glimpse into the ultrasound rooms where our sonographers witness some extraordinary moments.
And I am especially excited to introduce you to Beth, our new midwife! I can't wait for you to meet her and learn about the beautiful work she'll be doing at Guiding Star Southwest!

Welcome to Our Second Home!
I often wish I could bring every one of you into the conversations happening within the walls of this beautiful place we call our second home.
It's a place where we have the extraordinary privilege of witnessing God's hand at work, but also where He is constantly working on us, inviting us to grow in faith, deepen our trust in Him, and learn what it truly means to serve others with love.
Not every day is easy. We share tears, disappointments, difficult decisions, and moments when all we can do is turn to prayer.
But then something wonderful happens, and we're reminded why God brought us together for this mission.
Today's Behind-the-Scenes Story: Sidewalk Stories!
We have a special Slack channel called Sidewalk Stories, where our interns share what they're witnessing directly from the sidewalks.
Sometimes it's news of a mother accepting help. Sometimes it's a conversation that gives us hope. And sometimes it's a testimony so beautiful that we can't help but rejoice!
Today, I want to share one of those conversations with you.
Here's a message our intern Haley shared with our team:
Can you imagine the joy our team felt reading those words?
A couple who had faced such a difficult decision was now celebrating the life of their baby!
And this is why your prayers matter so much.
You may never stand on that particular sidewalk or meet that mother, but your faithfulness is part of a mission that brings hope when it is needed most.
And this is only our first story!
Tomorrow, I'll take you behind another door and introduce you to another beautiful part of this ministry.
I hope these next five days remind you just how much God is doing through your prayers, your generosity, and your love.

Devotional for Day 35
Intention: For our faithful prayer warriors and the families whose lives are being touched through their prayers.
Scripture: “The Lord has done great things for us; we are glad indeed.” — Psalm 126:3
Reflection: For 35 days, you have prayed faithfully, often without seeing the fruits of your sacrifices. Yet God has been working in beautiful ways! Every conversation on the sidewalk, every mother who accepts help, and every life welcomed reminds us that our prayers are never wasted. What a blessing to witness His goodness and share these moments of joy with you!
Prayer: Heavenly Father, thank You for the faithfulness of our prayer warriors. Bless every mother and child, strengthen those serving on the sidewalks, and help us trust in Your perfect timing. May everything we do bring glory to You. Through Christ our Lord. Amen.
Today's Challenge: Offer a prayer of thanksgiving for the blessings God has made possible during these 35 days, including those we may never know about.
