Unless the Lord builds the house, the builders labor in vain.
This Wednesday, we had the opportunity to sit among passionate pro-life leaders from across New Mexico.
We gathered in Albuquerque through an initiative led by Bennie Gonzales of St. Anne’s Parish in Santa Fe. It was a time to listen, seek clarity, and bring an important question before the Lord together.
What is the greatest threat New Mexico is facing right now, and how are we being called to respond?
We prayed and asked God to bring us into unity, recognizing that any good we have accomplished has only been possible because of His grace, and that all that is to come is for His glory, not our own.
As the conversation unfolded, we all agreed.
Although the 10-million-dollar abortion center is being built in Las Cruces, it will impact the entire state of New Mexico, making it the most serious threat facing the pro-life movement right now.
What was most powerful was what followed.
We began to see how our efforts could align, and we decided to move forward side by side to help stop and slow construction, with leaders across the state stepping in to support what is happening in Las Cruces. The plan was developed.
Because when the Body of Christ stands together, we are stronger.
Scripture tells us, “Every kingdom divided against itself is laid waste.” Matthew 12:25. Bring unity, Jesus, that we may bring Glory and Honor to your Holy name.
And in that unity, may we continue to trust the Lord to lead every step. As we approach the end of these 40 days, we want to remind you of the opportunity to come together in prayer, gratitude, and fellowship.

Devotional for Day 31
Intention:
For unity among believers and trust in what God is beginning to unfold.
Scripture:
“How good and pleasant it is when God’s people live together in unity.”
Psalm 133:1
Reflection:
God often begins His work quietly, bringing people together before the full picture is clear. When we choose unity and remain faithful, we make room for Him to move in ways we cannot yet see.
Prayer:
Lord, guide us as we move forward together. Strengthen our unity, deepen our trust, and help us remain faithful to what You are asking of us. Amen.
Challenge:
Pray for unity across New Mexico today. Ask God to bless every person working to protect life and to guide the path ahead. Pray Psalm 51 for Dr. Thear
40 Days of Gift Giving
Each day, one Registered Prayer Volunteer from every vigil site will be selected to receive a small Southwest Coalition merchandise item that we already have on hand. It is a simple and joyful way for us to thank you for showing up and standing faithfully in prayer.
