{{first_name|Friend}},
I promised you an update once the El Paso Giving Day team finished processing — and I have to tell you, the delay itself was a kind of good news. The team at Paso del Norte was simply overwhelmed by how much generosity came through this year. It took them a few days to catch up.
Now it’s official:
Out of 300+ nonprofits in the Borderland, you made LIFE the #1 cause. Not by a little. By nearly $50,000 over the next organization.
And here’s the part that still has me shaking my head: there are still gifts that haven’t been reported yet. Once everything is in, we expect to finish closer to $250,000.
Friend, I didn’t do this. Our team didn’t do this. God did this — through you. One hundred eighty-six of you, from El Paso to Las Cruces to, yes, France. Every one of you looked at a $10 million abortion center going up down the road and answered with a maternity home, a birth center, and a door right next to the abortion clinic’s door.
To Him be all the glory. And to you, from every girl at the Lily Pad and every woman who will walk through that door this week: thank you.
If you gave during Giving Day: we’re reaching out personally to make sure you have your seats at the gala. If you haven’t heard from us yet, you will — we’re working through the list and we’re saving your place.

If you haven’t reserved yet: tickets and tables for Boots, Babies, and Big Dreams are open at gala.swc.inc — December 2 in Las Cruces and December 3 in El Paso, with keynote Riley Gaines, Mark Cavaliere as MC, and our first-ever Western dance. More than 300 seats are already spoken for, so don’t wait.
Thank you for making the Borderland a place where life wins.
Gratefully in Christ,

Devotional for Day 29
Intention: For donors whose generosity makes life-affirming services possible.
Scripture: “God loves a cheerful giver.” 2 Corinthians 9:7
Reflection: Many services offered freely to women are possible only because someone else quietly chose to give. Generosity becomes an ultrasound, a night of safe housing, baby supplies, counseling, medical care, or transportation. Today we pray in gratitude for those who make these works possible.
Prayer: Lord, bless every generous heart supporting women and children. Multiply what they give and grant us wisdom to steward every gift faithfully. Amen.
Challenge: Challenge. Pray Psalm 51 for Dr. Theard.
