We are only on Day 2 — and we need you with us. 🙏
Across the Southwest, prayer warriors are beginning these 40 Days for Life with one shared purpose: to peacefully pray for women, their unborn children, families, and an end to abortion in our communities.
Right now, the need for prayer is especially visible.
New abortion centers are being built in our region, and each week we can see the construction moving forward. Walls are going up. Buildings are taking shape. What was once a plan on paper is becoming a physical reality in our communities.
It can be heartbreaking to watch.
But we are not without hope.
We know that buildings can be constructed, plans can be made, and circumstances can seem impossible — but God can change what we cannot.
That is why we pray.

For the next 40 days, we are asking people across the Southwest to stand together in peaceful, faithful prayer at our different vigil locations. Shifts across vigils go unfilled but we know our community can help find courageous prayer warriors. This prayer starts with you.

Our goal is to create an unbroken chain of prayer throughout these 40 days — and every person who signs up helps us fill another hour.

We may not know what God will do through these 40 days, but we know what He is asking us to do:

Devotional for Day 2
Intention: For every unborn child whose life has just begun.
Scripture: “You formed my inmost being; you knit me in my mother’s womb.” Psalm 139:13
Reflection: Before a child is seen by the world, that life is already known by God. Every tiny beginning carries immeasurable dignity. Today we pray especially for children in the earliest and most vulnerable days of life. May each one be received as someone created and loved by God.
Prayer: Creator of life, shelter every child newly conceived. May each little life be protected, cherished, and given the opportunity to fulfill the purpose You have prepared. Amen.
