{{first_name|Friend}},
Ten months ago, Mark Cavaliere handed me the keys to Southwest Coalition.
It was one of the hardest moments of my life. And one of the most hopeful.
Because here's what was happening around us: a $10 million abortion center had just opened in Las Cruces. Every week, women were — and still are — driving across the state line from Texas to reach it. And the abortion industry was already drawing up plans for a second facility in northern New Mexico.
They were betting we'd lose our footing.
Tomorrow night, I get to show you what we did instead.
For the first time since passing the torch, Mark is coming back — not to take over, but to sit where you sit and get his first real update on this new era, live, right alongside you.
And I'm bringing the people who've been on the front lines with me:
Denisha Workizer, who was never supposed to be here — an abortion survivor whose story is one of the most powerful answers to the abortion industry you will ever hear
Makayla de Jong, our certified nurse midwife at Guiding Star Southwest, who is watching abortion-minded women change course because of a kind of care offered almost nowhere else
Aida Salazar, live and on site from Her Care Connection's new space — right next door to the Santa Teresa abortion center
Marcia Jerry of Southwest Coalition Action, leading the response to the new threat spreading across New Mexico
Blanca Savusa, straight from the sidewalk at 40 Days for Life
Destiny, a mom from The Lily Pad Maternity Home who walked in with nowhere to go and is walking out with a future
Pastor Morris Wolfe of Healing Word Sanctuary, with a word for the road ahead
And I'll be sharing a few announcements you'll hear first — including your first look at this year's gala in December.

P.S.S. - Don’t forget, when you register and join us for Wednesday night’s webcast, you’ll have a chance to win a five-course dinner prepared in your home by the Southwest Coalition team for you and eight guests! Come hungry for stories, laughter, and some pretty good cooking. 😊 We’ll draw the winner at the end of the webcast, so register and stay with us!
Devotional for Day 14
Intention: For each of us to recognize the part God is asking us to play in His work and to respond generously.
Scripture: “We are God’s co-workers.” — 1 Corinthians 3:9
Reflection: It is humbling to remember that God does not need us, yet He chooses to work through us. Every prayer offered, every hour volunteered, every gift given, and every invitation extended can become part of something much bigger than we can see. We may never know what God will do with one simple act of generosity or one person we invite into this mission. Our responsibility is simply to listen when He calls and be willing to say yes.
Prayer: Lord, thank You for allowing us to participate in Your work. Show us where You are asking us to serve, give, pray, speak, or invite someone else to join us. Take what we offer, however small it may seem, and use it for Your glory and for the good of mothers, babies, and families. Amen.Intention: Intention
Challenge: Challenge. Pray Psalm 51 for Dr. Theard.
