{{first_name|Friend}},
Before today's update, I need to make one quick correction from my previous email.
The email address I provided for Bennie Gonzales was incorrect. The correct email address is: [email protected]
Thank you for your patience as we work to keep all information accurate.
Important Updates
Del Norte Construction has also withdrawn from the project.
210 Chama St NE
Albuquerque, NM 87105-5415
(505) 270-7761 (505) 901-9003
Please join me in thanking God for this outcome and praying for the owners and employees. Walking away from a contract often comes with real financial sacrifice.
These companies deserve our gratitude, our prayers, and whenever possible, our business. I have added their thank-you letter to the pack.
We also learned that more than 700 signed, prayed-over letters were personally delivered to Patrick Aragon's home.
Please continue praying for him, his family, and everyone involved in this project.
There is also an important strategic development regarding Paragon X Industries.
If Mitchell Martinez withdraws as the Qualifying Party for Paragon X Industries, the company loses its license and cannot legally continue construction projects in New Mexico.
This makes Mitchell Martinez one of the most important individuals connected to this project.
A Specific Request This Week
If you know Mitchell Martinez personally, professionally, through the construction industry, a parish community, or mutual friends, please reach out to him and encourage him to carefully consider whether he wants his professional license associated with this facility.
I will work to obtain his publicly available professional contact information from the New Mexico Construction Industries Division.
If you have contact information for Mitchell Martinez, have spoken with him, or receive any response, please contact me directly so we can keep our contractor intelligence spreadsheet accurate and up to date.
As we have seen repeatedly throughout this effort, some of our most important breakthroughs have come through personal relationships and respectful conversations.
Please keep Mitchell Martinez and his family in your prayers.
There is one more encouraging development.
🎉🎉 A BIG Congratulations to Senator David Gallegos, who has secured the Republican nomination for Lieutenant Governor of New Mexico.
For years, we have said that Southern New Mexico deserves better than an abortion center. Senator Gallegos' nomination is another reminder that there are leaders willing to fight for a different vision: one where these taxpayer dollars are invested in authentic, life-affirming healthcare for women, children, and families.
This is another reminder that when faithful people are willing to speak up, get involved, and live their values boldly, change is possible.
The momentum we are seeing today did not happen by accident. It happened because faithful people chose to act.
It is easy to become focused on contractors, permits, construction activity, and reports. But in doing so, we can miss the beautiful fingerprints of God all over this effort.
Every company that has walked away. Every prayer hour covered. Every letter signed. Every phone call made. Every conversation after Mass/Service. Every person who drove across town to hand-deliver a letter.
It happened because God inspired ordinary people to act.
As St. Paul reminds us, "For we are God's co-workers." (1 Corinthians 3:9). What a privilege it is to be invited into His work.
Please continue praying.
Please continue writing.
Please continue showing up.
Please continue inviting others into this mission. All the emails can be found at newsletter.swc.inc
And above all, thank God for the privilege of serving Him and being part of what He is doing in New Mexico.
Lastly, I would also like to share a beautiful prayer card that one of our faithful supporters gave us during our recent trip to Albuquerque. The card features an eagle protecting her young. I imagine that is how God is protecting New Mexico, keeping us under His wings.

Thank you, Pennelope and Gary
📬 Here are the Updated Letter Packs
Please download the new packet (Google Doc | Word | PDF) and mail what you can this week. It now includes:
1. Petition letters to every remaining confirmed company still actively engaged in the project.
2. Thank-you letters to the FOUR companies that have already walked away after learning what they were really helping to build, for standing publicly with the pro-life community.
Standing with you for life,

Jessica Sifuentes
President & CEO
Southwest Coalition
P.S. — If you have a personal connection to anyone involved with these companies, never underestimate the power of a respectful conversation. One phone call from a friend, fellow parishioner, church member, neighbor, or trusted acquaintance can accomplish more than hundreds of letters.
