{{first_name|Friend}},
Last week, I shared the story of our new Her Care Connection location in Santa Teresa, just steps away from the abortion facility. Today at 11:00 AM, we will bless that space at 5300 McNutt, Suite #10. We hope to see you there.
Many of you wrote back expressing excitement about the chapel, the opportunity for prayer, and the possibility of reaching women at such a critical moment in their lives.
What I did not share is that God was opening another door at the very same time.
A New Home for a Growing Mission
We have officially opened a new Southwest Coalition and Her Care Connection office in Las Cruces.
For years, Guiding Star Las Cruces has generously served as home to Guiding Star, Southwest Coalition, and Her Care Connection.
As our outreach efforts have grown, however, we have reached the point where Southwest Coalition and Her Care Connection need dedicated space of their own.
Our sidewalk interns need a place to meet, train, and serve. Our outreach teams need space to organize. We need room for meetings, materials, storage, and the daily work that comes with a growing mission.
Creating a separate home for Southwest Coalition and Her Care Connection allows Guiding Star Medical Center to remain focused on serving the women and families who walk through its doors, while giving our outreach and advocacy efforts the room they need to continue growing.
This beautiful home will serve as our office space and, when needed, as a temporary place of rest and support for a woman facing a difficult situation.
Another blessing of this new location is its proximity to New Mexico State University.
Being within walking distance of campus allows us to be more accessible to the young men and women of our community during some of the most important moments of their lives.
Simply put, God is growing this mission, and we need room to grow with it.
Growing Support Across New Mexico
There is another encouraging sign that awareness is growing across our state.
The video below shows the pastor of Santa Maria de la Paz Parish in Santa Fe encouraging parishioners to sign the petition and become involved in efforts to stop the abortion center.
For many months, much of the attention surrounding this project has been concentrated in Southern New Mexico. Seeing parish leaders and parishioners in Northern New Mexico step forward is a reminder that people across our state are beginning to recognize what is at stake.
This effort is no longer just a Las Cruces issue. More and more people throughout New Mexico are learning what is happening and asking how they can help.
We also had a very encouraging meeting with the Director of Social Justice and Respect Life for the Archdiocese of Santa Fe.
She was very interested in learning more about the Spiritual Defense Coalition and understands the important role the Church can play in supporting pro-life efforts throughout New Mexico.
We are looking forward to a second meeting where we can go deeper into what that partnership and coordination may look like.
Stop the Center Update
Many of you have asked for an update on the effort to stop the abortion center.
At this time, we have not yet received responses from the contractors we have contacted.
For now, we will continue making calls, sending emails, gathering information, and building relationships.
Please know that I am staying on top of this effort and continuing to work with others to identify the most effective next steps.
While construction continues, so does our work.
And just as importantly, awareness continues to grow.
Thank You
This ministry belongs to all of us.
None of this would be possible without God working through faithful people.
Every prayer offered.
Every dollar donated.
Every volunteer hour.
Every prayer vigil.
Every sidewalk conversation.
Every petition signature.
Every letter written.
You have helped build this.
I often tell people that God does not need us to accomplish His will.
Yet in His goodness, He invites us to participate.
What a privilege it is to witness His fingerprints all over this mission.
As the prophet Isaiah reminds us:
"See, I am doing something new! Now it springs forth, do you not perceive it?" (Isaiah 43:19)
📬 Here are the Updated Letter Packs
If you still haven't, please download the new packet (Google Doc | Word | PDF) and either CALL or EMAIL the companies on the lists. It includes:
1. Petition letters to every remaining confirmed company still actively engaged in the project.
2. Thank-you letters to the companies that have already walked away after learning what they were really helping to build, for standing publicly with the pro-life community.
Remember, if you are willing to help investigate, please consider making polite inquiries regarding either company and whether they are connected to the Las Cruces facility project.
If you make contact, receive a response, or learn anything helpful, please let me know so I can update our records and share verified information with the group.
You can reach me directly by replying to this email or by calling/texting me at (915) 455-1344.
As we have learned throughout this effort, some of our most valuable discoveries have come from respectful conversations and supporters willing to help uncover the truth.
Standing with you for life,

Jessica Sifuentes
President & CEO
Southwest Coalition
P.S. — If you have a personal connection to anyone involved with these companies, never underestimate the power of a respectful conversation. One phone call from a friend, fellow parishioner, church member, neighbor, or trusted acquaintance can accomplish more than hundreds of letters.
