{{first_name|Friend}},
I stopped by the UNM site the other day and recorded a short video so you can see what is happening.
It is one thing to hear about it. It is another to see it.
And standing there, you can feel what is at stake.
Many of you have been waiting for this next step, and I am grateful for your patience and your faith.
That moment has arrived.
We are now ready to begin a continuous prayer presence at the site.
At the same time, we are not people without hope.
No matter what we see, we trust that God is at work.
As I stood there, it became very clear what we are being called to do next.
We need to be there praying.
This is not a formal 40 Days for Life vigil. There is no requirement to sign in or commit to a structured schedule. What matters most is that we show up, that we pray, and that we stand as a visible witness to truth.
Our prayer presence will follow the construction schedule, which right now appears to be Monday through Friday from 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM. Just sign up for your hour, go to the construction site, park in the parking lot next to the site, pray for all involved, and once your prayer time is done, you may leave. We have a great opportunity to be powerful witnesses to standing for the truth.
Our presence matters.
Every prayer offered there matters.
And if God opens the door, we want to be ready to share with the workers why we are there, with honesty and love.
Let’s keep in mind that this facility will not only offer abortion up to birth, but will also train future doctors to perform abortions through the Ryan Residency Program. What is being built there will reach far beyond this one location.
That is why we respond with what is most powerful.
Prayer.
We are not there to argue. We are there to intercede and to be the light that cannot be hidden. I am happy to say our light is getting brighter!
As many of you heard during our recent webcast, we are now part of the New Mexico Spiritual Defense Coalition. There are other pro-life organizations standing with us, and together we are beginning to move in a more united way.
This Friday, several of us will be meeting with Knights, priests, and pastors in Albuquerque to continue building that unity and to invite the Church more fully into this mission.
There is something growing here. A deeper unity is forming; there is real hope.
We need you to be part of it.
Even one hour makes a difference.
Please consider signing up, and invite your friends and family to come with you. Come pray. Come stand. Come be present.
We will continue to share updates as this effort grows, and we hope to begin sending weekly updates so you can stay closely connected. Email if you have any questions or call me at (915) 455-1344.
Gratefully in Christ,

Jessica Sifuentes
